Terms of Service

By accessing or using any GrantPanda product or service (including grantpanda.online and any associated applications), operated by H K Enterprises (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-KR-11-0029354), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to all users of GrantPanda products, including:

• Scholarship Platform users — individual students and waitlist registrants
• Institutional customers — colleges, schools, and organisations deploying ICSB or other GrantPanda products
• Institutional end users — students, parents, staff, HODs, and administrators using ICSB under an institution's deployment

If you are accessing GrantPanda products on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use any GrantPanda product.

GrantPanda operates and provides the following products:

• GrantPanda Scholarship Platform — an AI-powered platform for discovering and matching scholarships, grants, fellowships, internships, and other educational funding opportunities. Currently in development; a public waitlist is open.
• ICSB Leave Management — an institutional platform for managing student leave applications, event requests, approval workflows, certificate management, and parent notifications, deployed at educational institutions.
• WhatsApp Business Solutions — technology solutions and integrations built using the WhatsApp Business Platform, enabling institutions and businesses to automate communications. GrantPanda is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.

All products are provided on an "as available" basis. Features, availability, and pricing may change. We will communicate material changes to affected users or institutions in advance where practicable.

Individual users must be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 must have appropriate parental or guardian consent. By using a GrantPanda product, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement.

Institutional users (students, staff, parents, HODs, and administrators) access ICSB and other products under the authority and configuration of their deploying institution. Eligibility conditions for institutional end users are determined by the institution.

Where GrantPanda products require an account (including administrative accounts for ICSB and waitlist registration for the Scholarship Platform), you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Institutional administrators are responsible for managing user access within their institution's deployment, including creating, suspending, and removing user accounts for staff and students.

You agree not to use any GrantPanda product to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its infrastructure, or other users' data
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the platform without our express written permission
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage platform functionality
• Impersonate another person, institution, or entity
• Interfere with the platform's operation, performance, or availability
• Use platform communication features (including WhatsApp integrations) to send unsolicited, harassing, or unlawful messages

Where GrantPanda products allow users to upload files or documents (e.g., supporting documents for leave applications in ICSB), you represent that:

• You have the right to upload and share the content
• The content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable law
• The content is accurate and is submitted for its stated purpose within the platform

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we are required to remove by law.

GrantPanda's ICSB platform may integrate with the WhatsApp Business Platform to provide institutional utility and transactional communications.

Depending on the institution's configuration, WhatsApp communications may include:

• Leave application and approval status notifications
• Parent approval requests
• Event or application-related notifications
• Other administrative notifications initiated by the deploying institution

GrantPanda may process information necessary to provide these communications, including recipient phone numbers, recipient names, message delivery information, message identifiers, and communication status data.

Institutions using WhatsApp-enabled features are responsible for:

• Providing accurate recipient information
• Ensuring they have the appropriate legal basis, authorization, or consent required to communicate with recipients
• Using WhatsApp communications only for legitimate institutional purposes
• Configuring recipients and communication workflows appropriately

GrantPanda processes WhatsApp-related information only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and monitor the configured service.

WhatsApp communications are subject to the applicable WhatsApp Business Platform terms, policies, and requirements. Meta Platforms, Inc. may process information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

GrantPanda is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

ICSB uses WhatsApp integrations to facilitate institution-initiated communications between educational institutions and authorized recipients. GrantPanda does not independently determine which individuals receive institutional notifications. Recipient selection and communication workflows are configured by the deploying institution.

Messages sent through the integration are intended primarily for institutional, administrative, utility, and transactional purposes related to the services provided by the institution.

Institutions deploying GrantPanda products (including ICSB) are responsible for:

• Ensuring their deployment and use of GrantPanda products complies with all applicable laws, including data protection laws applicable to student and parent data in their jurisdiction
• Obtaining any required consents from students, parents, and staff for data collection and processing within the platform
• Managing user access rights appropriately and deactivating accounts when users leave the institution
• Not using the platform to process data in ways inconsistent with the purposes for which it was collected

GrantPanda products may integrate with or link to third-party services, including the WhatsApp Business Platform and infrastructure or service providers required to operate the platform. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services.

All content, features, code, design, and functionality on GrantPanda products — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of H K Enterprises or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use GrantPanda products for their intended purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

We aim to maintain high availability of GrantPanda products but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or suspend access temporarily without prior notice. We will endeavour to communicate planned maintenance where feasible.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any GrantPanda product if:

• You breach these Terms
• We are required to do so by law or a competent authority
• Continued access poses a security risk to the platform or other users

Institutional customers may terminate their deployment by contacting us. Termination does not affect obligations that accrued prior to termination.

GrantPanda products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. H K Enterprises expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that products will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of harmful components.

Scholarship and funding information provided through the Scholarship Platform is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any listed opportunity.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, H K Enterprises and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, any GrantPanda product — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid any amount, our liability is limited to INR 5,000.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless H K Enterprises and its affiliates from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of any GrantPanda product
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right
• Any content you upload or transmit through GrantPanda products

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India, without prejudice to any consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date on this page, by notice to registered users, or by prominent notice on the relevant product. Continued use of any GrantPanda product after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
